A basic introduction to the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) unit in the saloon vehicle of specific fleets.

On successful completion of the course the trainee will be familiar with all aspects of saloon HVAC maintenance, including:

• Identifying system components
• Refrigeration system
• Checking capacity control pressure switches
• Using a laptop computer to access the controller
• Checking temperature balance
• Testing the system
• Fault finding
• Removal of a HVAC component.
