Asian Rail Academy was established, inspired by the growth of rail industry in Malaysia and the dire need to address the requirement for human capital development.

We aim to support government policy and plan (GTP, 11th Malaysia Plan, National Land Public Transport Master Plan, etc) by fulfilling the crucial need of skilled workforce consequently driving human capital development in Malaysian rail industry. Asian Rail Academy aspires to reduce the skill gap by upskilling existing workforce to acquire industry-relevant skills.

We also provide training for fresh graduates who will be newcomers into the rail industry, which increases their employability. Asian Rail Academy is partnering with industry leaders like National Training Academy for Rail (NTAR) from UK and TÜV SÜD from Germany to provide globally recognised industry-relevant certification programmes in traction, rolling stock and railway safety.
We have incorporated technology and innovation into our programmes to create a fun and immersive learning environment. Complementing traditional classroom learning, our programmes are also run using Virtual Reality (VR) technology where trainees visualise and interact with rail components in a 3D-environment. Using cutting-edge VR technology, we have evolved the learning process, subsequently creating workforce that is familiar to innovation and digitalization of rail systems. This in fact complements the government's plan to create a digital workforce who can stay relevant in a fast-evolving industry.
