An introduction to the QSK CM850 Diesel Engine, designed to provide trainees with the skills necessary to carry out preventative maintenance.

On successful completion of the course the trainee will, in accordance with Cummins recommendations:

• Be able to recognise the QSK CM850 engine, its components, system flow paths, operation procedures and correct rebuild practices with reference to the shop manual
• Outline QSK19 operation and maintenance theory
• Describe the four QSK19 CM850 engine systems
• Understand and apply the correct fault finding and maintenance procedures.
